Lydia grew up on a property in the Mid North, where her interest in agriculture began. She completed a Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management while working across stud-stock and commercial livestock operations, building practical experience alongside her studies.

Lydia joined Farm Finance Co in 2024 during the final stages of her degree, following a university placement with the team. She was drawn to the business’s values, particularly its focus on securing personalised finance solutions and ensuring the farmer’s best interests are always at the centre of what it does.

Outside of work, she helps her partner on his family property in Willalooka which allows her to stay closely connected to the industry and maintain a practical, up-to-date understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing modern agriculture.
